It has been a frustrating international break for the Gunners, who have been hit with a handful of fresh injuries as wide swathes of the squad have spent time representing their nations.
However, this match will be Mikel Arteta’s first since signing a new four-year contract to remain as manager of the club.
The new deal saw him rewarded for his title-winning heroics last season and will make him one of the best-paid managers in the Premier League. It will also take his tenure with the Gunners over a decade.
It may seem a distant memory now, but Arsenal were hit with a brutal 3-0 defeat against Brighton last time out, and they will be desperate to get back to winning ways here against Daniel Farke’s unbeaten Leeds.
The Yorkshire outfit have their own injury concerns though with Daniel James and Joe Rodon both missing out and playmaker Harry Wilson a doubt to make the trip south.
