Brooklyn Beckham has hit back at claims that he regularly sings his recipes.
The 27-year-old self-styled chef shared a new cooking clip on his Instagram account, this time whipping up pasta spaghetti all’assassina.
On the video, which shows the tattooed Beckham making the sauce and then cooking the raw pasta in the pan, he wrote as a caption: ‘For all the nice comments about me always burning my food, this pasta should be sooooo burnt.’
The eldest Beckham Sprog certainly seemed to enjoy giving his followers a thumbs up as he tried out the finished product.
While some in the comments complained about the lack of fresh garlic and Beckham’s decision to use tomato sauce from a jar, many said the dish looked delicious.
Commenting under the video, Roxana wrote: “Those who don’t know, Spaghetti all’assassina is a typical dish in the Puglia region of Italy, and this is a very good representation of the recipe. So calm down everyone, it’s delicious.’
Beckham – or Peltz Beckham, as he married Nicola Peltz in 2022 – previously landed in hot water (as opposed to that spaghetti) for another pasta, where he used sea water in the recipe.
The video was filmed aboard a yacht in 2025, before he very publicly severed ties with his parents Sir David and Victoria Beckham, and saw Beckham scooping pasta water from the sea.
Commentators were appalled, partly because of the state of our waterways in the UK. Although Beckham seems to have cooked the dish in the Mediterranean Sea, rather than the Thames Estuary.
In 2021, Beckham launched an eight-episode cooking show entitled Cookin’ With Brooklyn, where the former photographer met with a number of chefs – Nobu Matsuhisa, Nancy Silverton, and Roy Choi among them – to take inspiration for a dish that they then prepared together.
He admitted that the short-lived show was then-fiancĂ© Nicola’s idea.
At the time, Beckham said he found cooking “therapeutic and really calming.”
He added: “I always have so much going on in my head, I’m always stressed about something, but cooking, especially doing something like making fresh pasta, making things from scratch, is the one thing I’ve found where I’m not thinking about absolutely anything else.
‘It’s just me, the food, the plate, and who I cook it with: my friends, Nicola, Nicola’s family, my family.
‘I just enjoy making people happy, so it’s the second thing I can do in my life, apart from spending time with my fiancee, that just takes me out of the world.’
