MORE OF OUR MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN
Re: Feds Not Recovering Green Slush Fund Scandal Payouts, online, Sept. 29.

Industry Minister Mélanie Joly has decided not to try to recover the 34 million dollars given to ineligible projects, citing that it would not be in the public interest. Every dollar spent should be in the public interest.
That money would have gone a long way to help seniors and vets, or would have helped with affordable housing, among other things.
Canadians watch as our tax dollars do more globetrotting than Mark Carney, and it is spent on absolutely ridiculous projects while our own people suffer under the Liberals.
Spending billions with absolutely no responsibility.
We pay higher and higher taxes, but the money is not spent on Canadian issues. We keep hearing promises that will never come to pass or of projects that were approved long before Carney stepped in and took credit for them.
That the liberal supporters do not see what is going on is a sad statement about the lack of political awareness in this country.

TITANS OF FRONTIER LEAGUE – AND NOT THE SUN
I am amazed that the Ottawa Sun never report or track the fortunes of the Ottawa Titans baseball team.
I was recently looking for an update on the game in which the Titans became the last champions of the Frontier League (to be renamed National Association of Professional Baseball). Do Sun Do sports reporters even know the Titans exist?
Is there a newspaper you can recommend that covers local baseball sports in Ottawa?
