The Pima County Sheriff’s Department gave an update on the Nancy Guthrie missing person case Friday, saying the department continues to work with the Nancy Guthrie Task Force on DNA analysis in an effort to move forward with the case.
“Earlier this month, investigators traveled to Florida to meet with lab scientists to see what more can be done to move this case forward.”
The department reminded the public that no tip is too small.
“Even the smallest piece of information could be critical to this investigation,” the department said.
Guthrie, NBC journalist Savannah Guthrie’s mother, was kidnapped from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on February 1.
