Ross Kemp accuses Bella Ramsey of “killing” him in an explosive Celebrity Traitors episode.

Ross Kemp wasted no time in causing chaos The Celebrity Traitorsaccuses Bella Ramsey of “killing” him on sight after she puts a captain’s hat on his head.

The new season launches on BBC One on October 1, introducing 21 celebrities to Claudia Winkleman’s game of deception. Right after the first mission, Ramsey put his hat on Kemp’s head and he immediately asked, “You didn’t just kill me, did you?”

Kemp later explained why he read danger into every interaction, saying, “My guard is very high.”

What did Ross Kemp say to Bella Ramsey?

Kemp’s suspicion played on a familiar Traitor Idea where the murder was done in plain sight via kissing, sharing drinks and other seemingly innocent gestures that disguise “murder”.

Kemp told the group he was on edge about “people offering me a drink or talking to me in a slightly weird way”, adding that he was “feeling paranoid”.

Why did Ross Kemp also suspect Leigh-Anne Pinnock?

Kemp’s paranoia didn’t stop with Ramsey. Later in the first episode, he also seems to be convinced that he has been “killed in plain sight” again after Leigh-Anne Pinnock rubs his arm in the bar area, also retreating from the sun for a moment.

Speaking to Radio Times, Traitor executive producer Sarah Fay said: “I don’t think anyone wants to go home first. I think Paloma showed that last year.”

Comedian Ed Gamble also praised Kemp’s spiraling suspicion, saying, “The paranoia! It’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on television.”

The series continues on BBC One and iPlayer at 8pm on Friday 2 October.
