A royal expert has given his verdict on the relationship between Prince Harry and William. Omid Scobie, who co-authored the book Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family in 2020, thinks that while the Duke of Sussex and King Charles III will find a way back to each other, the same cannot be said about the two brothers.
“I think we’ve seen with Charles that things have moved forward and that the iciness has surfaced,” he revealed of the king, adding: “There’s a warmth there.”
However, in an ABC News Studios documentary, Scobie said that “with William, I don’t see that ever changing”.
The royal author further challenged rumors that Princess Kate could play a role as a “peacemaker” bringing estranged brothers together.
He added: “If I’ve learned anything over the years from covering it, it’s that Kate has very little to do with that relationship between the brothers.”
